American musician, singer, songwriter, and actor, best known as the founder, occasional rhythm guitarist, and lead singer of rock band Bon Jovi. Son of John Bongiovi, Sr. and 2nd cousin of Tony Bongiovi.

Born: 2 March 1962 (Perth Amboy, New Jersey, USA).

Previously worked as a christmas decoration assembler.

Inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2009.
