Julee Cruise was an American singer and actress, born December 1, 1956, in Creston, Iowa, USA. She was best known for her collaborations with [a=David Lynch] and [a=Angelo Badalamenti]. She recorded songs for [m=4549], [m=4538], [m=4607] and [m=1234960], as well as performing as the Roadhouse singer in both seasons of the original Twin Peaks, Fire Walk With Me and the reboot.

On March 28, 2018, Cruise announced that she had [i]systemic lupus[/i], which caused her considerable pain and affected her ability to walk and stand. She also suffered from depression. She died from suicide on June 9, 2022, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA, at the age of 65.
