KSMB
About KSMB
Swedish punk band formed in 1978 in Skärholmen.
Initially named Skärholmens Gymnasiums Punkensemble. Later in 1978 they changed the name to KSMB.
The band played its last gig on May 27 1982 and subsequently split up. In 1993 the band reunited and stayed active until 1996. The reason for the reunion was that the band’s original bassist Mats Nilsson wanted to do a concert before receiving radio therapy for a tumor on his auditory nerve. Several of the band’s former members joined the line-up. Nilsson’s radiation treatment was successful, and the reunion was followed by a large number of concerts and the album “En Gång Till”. In 2015 the band reunited again for a gig at Bråvalla Festival. In February 2017 the band released the album “Ond Saga” followed by a tour.
KSMB stands for Kurt-Sunes Med Berit.
