About Raj Montana Band

Swedish pop/rock band. They were Dan Hylanders and Py Bäckman’s joint backing band.

The name comes from the band’s original name, Ray Montana and his Moonlight Boys. Members of the band varied over the years. Many of them were part of what in the 1980s was called the studio elite. The band disbanded in 1985. In 1997, the band re-emerged for a reunion tour and a compilation album with some newly recorded tracks on. In 2017, the band re-emerged.
