About Ulla Jones
Also known as Ulla Andersson and Ulla Andesong, born June 18, 1946, is a Swedish photo model. She was married to musician and producer Quincy Jones from 1967 to 1974 and had two children with him: film and music producer Quincy Delight Jones III and dancer and model Martina Jones.
Ulla Jones was discovered as a 15-year-old in Stockholm by Eileen Ford, who contracted her as a man’s boot and photo model. Then she got an international modeling career that started in Paris but later led her to the US, where she entered into marriage. Still married to Quincy Jones, she returned to Sweden and settled in southern Stockholm. In 1974 the marriage was dissolved.
In 1979 Ulla Jones released the LP That’s Nifty with almost all the text and music written by her self. Producers were Lars Samuelson and Björn J: son Lindh and many of the leading studio musicians of the time participated. She played one of the lead roles in the first Swedish set of Wild side story at the Alexandra’s disco in Stockholm, receiving good reviews.
In recent years she has been involved in photography herself and also had a photo exhibition in Stockholm.
