Swedish-English (-Irish, towards the end) band in Stockholm which took it’s name after Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain.
The band had great success during the 1970s with their interpretation of British folk music. They also interpreted [a457539] and [a525849]. Under the name “Jerry K. Gustafsson och populärensemblen Scafell Pike” they achieved success with “It is so healthy and strengthening in the mountains”. The band started out as a trio 1971 with:
