Yellow Parlophone labels.
Embossed KT stamps on labels.
‘Sold in U.K….’ text on labels.
This version has ‘Dr. Robert’ on the sleeve and ‘Doctor Robert’ on the label.
This is a 1st press variant B with the change of “Dr.” – “Doctor”. This probably occurred within a short time after the LP was first released. Still considered a 1st.
There is also a 1st press Variation C. This variation incorporates the corrected “Doctor Robert” spelling to the Sans-serif label. That label exhibits a new layout design most notably with side one having both “Taxman” and “Eleanor Rigby” on the first line. The credits pattern of “Song (Composer)-Lead Singer” also are switched to “Song-Lead Singer (Composer)”. This probably appeared in late 1967 or 1968.
This is Variation A: The Beatles – Revolver
This is Variation C: The Beatles – Revolver
